After two less than stellar sequels, things seemed to be on the right track with Jurassic World bringing the Jurassic Park franchise back to it's roots. A big blockbuster dinosaur flick that did so science fiction movie well, another entry in the series seemed obvious. Indeed, (blog post) this movie made gangbusters at the box sci-fi movies office, bringing in over 1 billion dollars on a 170 million dollar budget. However... that doesn't mean that the movie itself was THAT fantastic...
